RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER

LOCATION: BRIDLE LODGE Burton Joyce, Nottinghamshire

WORKING HOURS:

• Full time – 37.5 hours and able to work flexible hours

• Part time hours – 22.5 and 30 hour posts and able to work flexible hours

SALARY & BENEFITS: £7.83 TO £8.25 dependency on qualifications and experience

THE ROLE: This is a Support Worker role with a difference; this is a role that encourages you to bring your personality into the role. A Support Worker will ensure Service Users lead valued and fulfilling lives by helping them to reach and achieve their ambitions. The role may include assisting individuals with personal and household tasks, hobbies and activities. In this varied role, no two days are the same.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will hold or aspire to achieving a NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent qualifications and have previous experience either in a support or team leader/ supervisor / management role. You will need to be flexible and understand that the needs of the residents are not just 9 – 5. Those with experience and who can evidence training and experience you will find this reflective in your pay rate.
